    Something about load balancing

Normally on load balancing, how is the virtual server decide whether to which server to perform the request?

Based on the CPU usage? (give to the server which has the lowest CPU usage to perform the request?)   or
Based on the memory available on the server?   or  based on the total web service request the currently perform?

     Thanks.

     Regards,

    Re: Something about load balancing

Well, it depends on the load balancing software/hardware, and all offers various alogrithm from distributed load (equal), round robin, custom % config, response time determination, etc. You would have to dig in on what kind of load balacing sw/hw you put in.
