The Dynamics AX Global Practice is looking for a solution oriented technical Architect in Malaysia or Singapore, serving the Asian time zone, who is interested in helping build a local AX (ERP) practice from the ground floor!  This is a unique opportunity for the right individual that possesses strong initiative and has a mix of advanced Microsoft technology, pre-sales business development experience and strategic business acumen.  The ideal candidate will have both broad and deep technology expertise and the ability to architect ERP solutions by mapping common customer business problems to end-to-end technology solutions. Demonstrated ability to engage in senior level business and technology decision maker discussions related to agility, business value, and ERP technologies is a must.  Architects are key enablers for other consultants and partner staff.  They oversee delivery of the largest, most complex, and most strategic projects for enterprise customers.  They are engaged in critical pre-sales activity in their local and nearby geographic areas as required in the business development for that territory.  Architects focus on one or more key lifecycle segments: opportunity, delivery, or operations.  Deep architecture experience must include some/all of the following: enterprise, industry, and platform based solutions.  This Global Architect’s shared responsibilities include 35% billable, 35% sales support and 30% knowledge transfer to seed and “jumpstart” the local area(s) practices in AX.

To be credible he or she must have current and deep experience with implementing  large ERP engagements around the Microsoft platforms, or other large scale ERP systems (e.g.  SAP, Oracle/PeopleSoft, Lawson) applications, with a focus on the Sales, Financial, and Supply Chain Modules. Understanding of competitive technology enables the Solutions Architect to properly assess feasibility of migrating customer solutions from, and/or integrating with customer solutions hosted on non-Microsoft platforms. Industry knowledge in the Manufacturing, Distribution and Services Verticals is a plus.

The Solutions Architect helps Microsoft management identify, pursue and close the most strategic Microsoft and partner business development opportunities. To accomplish this, Solutions Architects must be effective in fostering executive level relationships. Solutions Architects routinely act as subject matter experts, assisting the Microsoft account teams and Services Sales Executives in definition and development of service and/or solution offerings. Solutions Architects are able to deliver effective strategic presentations to audiences of all sizes and possess excellent communication skills.  They maintain extensive product group relationships and drive technical readiness for ERP solutions with product certifications and specific ISV packaged solutions expertise as needed.
