Hi Citymouse,
Wow. Very detail. I appreciate that :)
a. Where do you plan to mamak? Not sure mamak got enough space if a lot of people come. Make sure got indoor, in case it rains. Prefer somewhere reachable by LRT. Fair for everyone. But not in KL.
b. Which date are you looking at? How about Saturday, November 1, 2008?
c. As for the drinks, let me think about it.
d. We can talk about .NET development or other areas as long there is no bashing.
e. I have some freebies to give. Citymouse, do you want to leverage on this? If yes, check below:
i. We can talk about Jetbrains tools. Not really marketing. Those who can share his/her current experiences on any Jetbrains product, will walk away with an original license. There will be only 1 winner. The winner will be voted by the participants who attend. So it is fair. The winner will choose either one of the products below. To participate, you have to bring your laptop and show your kungfu moves:
- ReSharper Personal License // Great product. But I use few products. Really worth considering
- dotTrace Personal License
- IntelliJ IDEA Personal License
- TeamCity Build Agent (for our Continuous Integration and Build Server) // Awesome tool if you do CI
- Ruby IDE Personal License
ii. I have 2 O'Reilly books with me - i) VSTS ii) ASP.NET 2.0
- The winner (male) and (female) - who can drink the most teh tarik in the whole session ... gets to win :P (joke maybe, what do you think citymouse?)
iii. Who can share their self-build open source projects in C# will earn a Super C# T-Shirt imported from Microsoft Redmond. 2 pieces left :) Remember to bring your laptop around.
Best Regards,
